THE WILD PLACES
WHAT'S ON THIS PAGE:
Whenever I think of Kenya I think of the African safaris and the African savannah. To me Kenya has always been home to the true African wildlife experience. I've never been there and probably never will, but it has that romantic notion about it in my own head - so please don't spoil it on me :-).

Masai Mari Game Reserve The Masai Mara Game Reserve has been established for many years. The reserve contains the incredibly important Rift Valley which is the heart and soul of Africa, protecting an area in excess of 1500 square kilometres in south-west Kenya. The Rift Valley is home to what is arguably the great annual migration of them all, that of the Wildebeest. The reserve protects populations of Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Cheetah, Black Rhino, Giraffe, Hippo and Nile Crocodile.
