WHAT'S ON THIS PAGE:
INTRODUCTION
The Deep Water National Park is found north of Bundaberg, just 7.5 km south of Agnes Water. The park is reached by taking the Lowmead Road from North Bundaberg. 500m before Berajondo turn right and travel for a further 19km. Turn right at the junction and follow the park signs for a further 25km.
The park features freshwater wetlands, sand dunes and open forest. It's a great area for bird watching and for observing turtles hatching between January and April each year.
CAMPING:
Wreck Rock Camping Ground:
The Wreck Rock Camping Ground is about 5.5km into the national park. It has picnic tables, a cold shower and toilets.
Middle Rock Camping Area:
Middle Rock is a primitive camping area without facilities.
