INTRODUCTION:

Noosa National Park is about 1 1/2 hours drive to the north of Queensland's capital, Brisbane.

 

ATTRACTIONS:

 

CAMPING:

Camping is not allowed in Noosa National Park. However there are a number of accommodation options in Noosa Heads.

 

WALKING:

Noosa National Park Tourist Track:

The Noosa National Park Tourist Track is a 7.1km walk that begins from the Noosa Heads township. The track follows the cliff tops around to the vary dangerous 'Hells Gate.' It is a very spectacular place during storms. It is also a good vantage point for spotting whales during their annual migrations. From Hells Gate the track continues around to Alexandria Bay, the Blowhole, Lions Rock, Devil's Kitchen, Cook's Monument, Paradise Caves and Sunshine Beach.
