INTRODUCTION:
Cape Tribulation National Park protects an area of around 17 000 hectares, 100km north-west of Cairns. It is truly a wild place with many yet to be named species of plants.

Alexandra Falls:
Alexandra Falls is one of those destinations that I excel at for it is a 2 hour rock-hopping adventure down Coopers Creek. Access to the creek is along a track at the base of Thornton Peak. Alexandra Falls drop about 150m from Thornton Peak.
